Ben Steele is a managing director of the Prime Clerk practice and a member of Prime Clerk’s management committee. Ben previously led client service at Prime Clerk from the company’s launch in 2013, developing a team of client-first, proactive problem solvers into the industry leader.
Before joining Prime Clerk, Ben was an associate in the Restructuring Group at Kirkland & Ellis, where he represented debtors, creditors and distressed investors in complex Chapter 11 cases and in out-of-court restructurings, including Tronox Incorporated, Kerzner International, Neways International, Metaldyne Corporation and United Retail Group, Inc.
Before law school, Ben lived in Beijing, China for nearly three years, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, became fluent in Mandarin and worked in marketing and advertising.
Ben graduated from Dartmouth College and holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
